EasyJet adds three Balkan routes from Switzerland for summer 2027

EasyJet will add three new direct Balkan routes from Switzerland for its summer 2027 schedule, linking Geneva and Basel with Sarajevo and Basel with Tivat. The services begin on 22 April, 10 May and 30 June 2027 respectively, with two weekly flights on each route.

The Geneva–Sarajevo service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, while the Basel–Sarajevo link will also run twice weekly. Basel–Tivat expands the airline’s Swiss leisure network further into Montenegro’s Adriatic coast. Ticket sales are already open, giving the new routes immediate commercial visibility ahead of the 2027 summer season.

The expansion also extends EasyJet Holidays’ offer, with Montenegro being added to the package portfolio alongside the new flight capacity. The move strengthens the carrier’s focus on Southeastern Europe from Switzerland, particularly from Geneva and Basel, where it is targeting point-to-point demand for leisure travel and short breaks.
