Boeing has closed out certification flight testing on the 737-10, clearing the last planned airborne hurdle for the largest 737 MAX variant. The campaign ran to 976 flights, more than 2,060 flight hours and about 1,040 ground test hours, with the final sortie operating from and back to Boeing Field in Seattle. Boeing is now into development assurance reviews, system safety assessments and FAA document submission, including work on the main landing gear, wet-runway braking, maximum-energy stops, the engine anti-ice update and enhanced angle-of-attack logic. Type certification is still pending, but Boeing remains pointed at approval in 2026 and first deliveries in 2027.
