Boeing has closed the flight-test phase for the 737-10, wrapping its final planned certification sortie and ending a campaign of 976 flights, more than 2,060 flight hours and about 1,040 ground test hours. The last run was an interiors evaluation that checked lavatory smoke-detector audibility and cabin speaker performance, after earlier testing covered main landing gear, wet-runway braking, maximum-energy stops, engine anti-ice and the enhanced angle-of-attack system. Boeing is now shifting to development assurance reviews, system safety assessments and final FAA documentation. The airframer still targets certification in 2026 and first deliveries in 2027.
