Austrian Airlines will operate a final passenger farewell flight for its remaining Boeing 767s on 1 December 2026, before the type leaves the fleet for parts recovery. Flight OS 1067 is scheduled to depart Vienna at 16:00 and return at about 18:00 after a round trip over Austria. Tickets are priced from €767 per person, with capacity limited to 211 passengers.
The special service is intended for enthusiasts and former passengers with a connection to the aircraft type. Austrian has planned a dedicated onboard service and additional surprises, although it has not disclosed the precise route or sightseeing programme. The flight will not operate as a regular scheduled service.
Austrian retired Boeing 767-300ER OE-LAZ on 13 October, leaving two aircraft in the fleet. Reports identify OE-LAY as the intended aircraft for OS 1067, while Austrian has also been reported as yet to confirm whether OE-LAY or OE-LAE will operate the flight.
The airline is replacing its Boeing 767s with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners as part of its long-haul fleet renewal. Austrian has sold the three remaining 767-300ERs—OE-LAE, OE-LAY and OE-LAZ—to US-based Cobra Aviation Services for parts recovery, with the aircraft scheduled to be transferred to Arizona.
