Boeing and Lufthansa Technik renew parts agreement

Boeing and Lufthansa Technik have renewed their Tailored Parts Package agreement for three years, extending a long-standing arrangement covering more than 6,500 Boeing part numbers across the manufacturer’s commercial aircraft platforms. Announced at MRO Europe in Amsterdam on 29 October, the agreement assigns Boeing responsibility for supply-chain execution, while Lufthansa Technik will use the programme to secure parts access for its airline customers.

The companies intend the arrangement to improve component availability and simplify procurement, while making costs and planning more predictable for airlines operating Boeing fleets. The package spans all Boeing commercial aircraft platforms, but the companies did not identify specific airline customers covered by the renewal.

The renewal extends the existing collaboration. No start date for the new three-year term or financial value was disclosed.
