ATR has named Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella as its next chief executive officer, with the change taking effect on 1 November, while Patrick Bergues will become chief financial officer on the same date. Della Bella will succeed Nathalie Tarnaud Laude at the regional aircraft maker, which is jointly owned by Airbus and Leonardo.
Della Bella currently leads Leonardo Helicopters US, giving ATR a senior executive with direct experience across the Leonardo group and its aerospace businesses. Bergues joins from Airbus, where he was chief financial officer for the company’s US operations and for Starlab Space. He will replace Andrea Coccetti, who is moving on from ATR’s finance function as part of the wider leadership transition.
