Airbus reported first-half 2026 results on 29 July in Amsterdam, saying second-quarter net income rose 126% year on year as higher commercial aircraft deliveries and a stronger contribution from Airbus Defence and Space lifted performance. Quarterly revenue increased 28% to €20.525 billion, adjusted EBIT rose 54% to €2.43 billion, and the company kept full-year guidance unchanged while reinforcing confidence in its delivery path.
For the first half, Airbus posted revenue of €33.2 billion, up 12% year on year, and net income of €2.243 billion. The company said the improvement was driven mainly by a faster pace of commercial aircraft deliveries and better profitability in Defence and Space, partly offset by currency-hedging effects.
Airbus said it delivered 237 aircraft in the second quarter, a record quarterly level. The group maintained its 2026 guidance, including around 870 commercial aircraft deliveries and €7.5 billion in adjusted EBIT. Airbus Helicopters was also among the divisions contributing to the result.
