Air Tahiti becomes second carrier to take delivery of all-business ATR 72-600

Air Tahiti has taken delivery of an ATR 72-600 fitted with ATR’s HighLine All-Business Class cabin, becoming the second airline to introduce the configuration after Malaysia’s Berjaya Air. The 26-seat aircraft will support the launch of Air Tahiti Signature, a premium service linking Tahiti with destinations including Bora Bora and Raiatea-Tahaa, with commercial operations scheduled to begin in December 2026.

The cabin uses a 1-by-1 layout, giving each passenger a window seat and direct access to the aisle. Air Tahiti plans to deploy the aircraft on scheduled services and charter missions across French Polynesia, applying a low-density premium configuration to a turboprop normally equipped for roughly 70 passengers.

The aircraft is part of Air Tahiti’s fleet-renewal programme and follows the airline’s selection of the HighLine interior for one of four ATR 72-600s ordered in 2025. The choice was unveiled at the Paris Air Show in June 2025. The delivery also extends Air Tahiti’s relationship with ATR, which spans nearly four decades.
