Air India has linked its Maharaja Club frequent-flyer programme with IHG Hotels & Resorts’ IHG One Rewards in a new loyalty partnership covering IHG’s global hotel network and Air India’s route system. Maharaja Club members can earn points on eligible stays at more than 7,100 IHG properties in over 100 countries, while IHG members can convert 1,000 IHG One Rewards points into 200 Maharaja points.
The earning structure varies by brand. Maharaja Club members receive two points per US$1 spent at most IHG hotels, but one point per US$1 at selected brands including Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, IHG Residences and IHG Army Hotels. A launch offer gives members three times Maharaja points on qualifying IHG stays between 15 September and 31 December, subject to registration and without blackout dates. The agreement ties together Air India’s international network and IHG’s hotel portfolio across India and five continents.
