Saudia is temporarily moving selected international services from Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport to King Fahd International Airport in Dammam during the 2026/27 winter schedule. The changes, mainly affecting October and November, cover Beijing Daxing, Dhaka, Guangzhou, Islamabad, London Heathrow, Manila and Paris Charles de Gaulle. Passengers whose itineraries remain linked to Riyadh may be provided with bus transfers between Dammam and the Saudi capital.
Beijing services are scheduled to operate via Dammam from 25 October to 30 November, using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Guangzhou flights are planned from Dammam between 29 October and 19 November, operated by Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 aircraft, although limited Riyadh services remain scheduled. Paris Charles de Gaulle will be served from Dammam from 27 October to 1 December by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
London Heathrow capacity from Dammam is scheduled to increase to as many as 10 weekly flights between 25 October and 12 November, combining Boeing 787-9 and 777-300ER aircraft. Manila, Dhaka and Islamabad will also receive temporarily relocated or adjusted services during the period.
The changes follow the restricted reopening of Riyadh airport after a prolonged disruption. Some domestic and national-carrier international operations resumed on 25 October, but flights remain subject to authorization and schedule changes. Exact frequencies, operating dates and airport arrangements may therefore change as Saudi aviation authorities manage permissions.
