Wizz Air to become bookable through Amadeus for the first time

Wizz Air will make its flights available through the Amadeus Travel Platform for the first time under a new distribution agreement with Amadeus. The integration, using Amadeus Ticketless Access (ATLA), will initially cover selected markets and allow travel agencies, corporate travel providers, online travel agencies and tour operators to search and book Wizz Air flights through their existing Amadeus workflows, alongside fare bundles and ancillary services.

The agreement gives Wizz Air additional indirect distribution channels and access to corporate customers and travel intermediaries that have traditionally required separate booking arrangements. It also expands the airline content available to distributors connected to the Amadeus platform, including schedules, fares, fare bundles and supplementary products.

The companies have not specified when the integration will become operational, which markets will be included in the initial rollout or how much of Wizz Air’s network will be available at launch. Availability will therefore depend on the selected markets and the implementation of the ATLA connection.
