HAECO has extended its landing-gear support agreement with Cathay Pacific, continuing overhaul and exchange services for the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER fleet. HAECO Landing Gear Services will perform the work from Xiamen, China, supporting Cathay’s long-haul widebody operations. The agreement continues a relationship that has produced more than 200 landing-gear deliveries for the airline.
The cooperation between HAECO and Cathay dates back to 1950, while the dedicated landing-gear programme began in 2010. Its scope has expanded beyond the 777-300ER to include the Boeing 777-300, Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 747-400ERF.
Under the extended arrangement, HAECO will continue providing exchange support alongside overhaul services. The companies have not disclosed the agreement’s duration or financial value. The available information does not indicate a change in maintenance location, a new aircraft acquisition or any broader change to the service scope.
The extension maintains HAECO’s role as Cathay Pacific’s landing-gear maintenance provider for the 777-300ER fleet and supports the airline’s existing maintenance arrangements for its widebody aircraft.
