Airbus receives ACG order for 75 A320neo Family aircraft

Airbus has secured a firm order from Aviation Capital Group (ACG) for 75 A320neo Family aircraft, in the California-based lessor’s largest transaction in nearly 40 years. Deliveries are scheduled from 2032 to 2035, while conversion rights between A320neo Family variants will allow ACG to adjust its future aircraft pipeline to meet airline customer demand.

The agreement raises ACG’s historical orders for the A320neo Family to 190 aircraft and its outstanding orders to 115. The lessor operated 118 aircraft from the family at the end of June 2026. Airbus and ACG did not disclose the allocation between A320neo and A321neo aircraft or the actual purchase price.

The order extends ACG’s delivery positions into the mid-2030s, enabling it to offer new-generation single-aisle aircraft to airline customers well into the next decade. ACG’s relationship with Airbus dates back to its first order in 2007.

A separate indicative calculation placed the aircraft’s combined list price at approximately 1.856 trillion Japanese yen, or about $11.76 billion, but the figure does not represent the price paid by ACG. Airbus has recorded more than 20,400 orders for the A320 Family, whose neo variants provide at least 20% lower fuel consumption and carbon-dioxide emissions than previous-generation single-aisle aircraft.
