Global Knafaim Leasing to Acquire A320-200 for $20 Million with Existing Lease

Global Knafaim Leasing has agreed to acquire a 2010-built Airbus A320-200 for approximately $20 million, including transaction-related expenses, in a deal that includes an existing lease to an airline operating in the Caribbean. The agreement was signed on 12 October, with completion expected by the end of November. The aircraft will remain with its current operator under the existing lease after closing.

The lease runs until the second quarter of 2029 and is expected to generate approximately $4.5 million in revenue for Global Knafaim Leasing from completion through the end of the contract. The lessor expects to pay about $16.5 million at closing, with the difference reflecting the transaction structure and related adjustments.

Completion remains subject to an agreement transferring rights among the international seller, Global Knafaim Leasing and the operator, as well as conditions covering the aircraft’s condition and the lessee’s status at closing. The transaction will expand the lessor’s fleet with an aircraft already placed with an operator, avoiding the immediate need for a new lease placement. Global Knafaim Leasing is jointly controlled by Knafaim Holdings and Shlomo Sixt.
