Bombardier Adds 11th Line Maintenance Station in Sydney, Australia

Bombardier has opened a new Line Maintenance Station in Sydney, Australia, expanding support for operators of its Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets across the Asia-Pacific region. The facility brings Bombardier’s worldwide LMS network to 11 and provides Aircraft on Ground assistance, unscheduled line maintenance and selected scheduled activities, including inspections.

The Sydney station complements Bombardier’s existing Australian support infrastructure, comprising an LMS in Perth and a service centre in Melbourne. Its technicians are certified to support all three Bombardier aircraft families and can respond to maintenance requirements from the Sydney base.

A dedicated Mobile Response Team truck extends the station’s reach beyond the facility, allowing technicians to provide field support across the region. Bombardier’s wider Asia-Pacific network also includes service centres in Singapore and Tianjin, China.

The company is separately planning an expansion of its Singapore Service Centre, expected to open in the second half of 2028. The enlarged site is intended to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, avionics installations and round-the-clock AOG support, further extending Bombardier’s regional aftermarket capabilities.
