Avolon and Lesha Bank have agreed a sale and purchase covering a 33-aircraft commercial portfolio leased to 25 airlines worldwide. The transaction, announced from Dublin and Doha, will see the assets transferred to Lesha Aviation Services after completion, lifting Lesha Bank’s managed fleet to more than 75 aircraft.
The deal expands Lesha Bank’s aviation platform and extends its exposure to leased commercial aircraft through a diversified portfolio spread across multiple operators. Avolon described the agreement as a significant step in its relationship with Lesha Bank, while the transaction also underlines continued institutional appetite for aviation assets backed by lease income.
One syndicated version said the acquisition is being carried out through an investment structure on behalf of Lesha Aviation Fund. Closing terms, pricing and the individual aircraft types were not disclosed in the available material.
