Shohin Airlines has taken delivery of its first aircraft, a 19-seat Let L-410 NG built by Czech manufacturer Let Aircraft Industries. The Tajik private carrier previously operated only helicopters, and the turboprop will be used to launch fixed-wing regional passenger services within Tajikistan.
The aircraft is intended to support domestic links and the airline’s network growth, with the L-410 NG positioned for short regional sectors and operations in mountainous terrain. Shohin Airlines is also in talks with additional aircraft manufacturers as it weighs future expansion into passenger, cargo and business aviation. A second aviation outlet reported the same development on 24 September, underscoring the recency of the delivery.
