ATR has named Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella as its next chief executive and Patrick Bergues as its next chief financial officer, with both appointments taking effect on 1 November. Della Bella will succeed Nathalie Tarnaud Laude at the turboprop manufacturer, while Bergues replaces Andrea Coccetti as ATR refreshes its top leadership team.
Della Bella is currently president of Leonardo Helicopters US and has also held senior positions in customer support, services and training at Leonardo Helicopters. Bergues joins from Airbus, where he held finance leadership responsibilities in the United States. The changes come as ATR, the regional aircraft joint venture owned by Leonardo and Airbus, looks to maintain continuity across commercial, industrial and financial functions.
The succession was framed as a planned transition rather than an abrupt shift. ATR’s dual leadership move brings in executives with experience across helicopter operations and aerospace finance, giving the 72-600 maker a new management lineup as it continues to support its turboprop programme and customer base.
