DAT passengers travelling from Linz can now connect in Frankfurt onto Qatar Airways, after the Danish carrier introduced an interline agreement with the Doha-based airline. Booking for DAT-Qatar Airways itineraries on flights to and from Linz has been available since the beginning of August 2026.
The new partnership expands the connection options available on DAT’s Linz-Frankfurt service, which already supports onward travel with Lufthansa Group flights through a codeshare arrangement launched in May 2026. For passengers, that means Frankfurt can now be used not only for Lufthansa Group transfers but also for wider long-haul connectivity on Qatar Airways.
The route remains an important feed link for DAT’s Linz operation, strengthening the commercial use of the service as a gateway into the Frankfurt hub. For travellers from Upper Austria, the additional interline option broadens access beyond Europe without changing the underlying short-haul operation between Linz and Frankfurt.
