Textron Aviation has rolled out the 500th Cessna Citation Latitude from its Wichita, Kansas manufacturing facility, marking a production milestone for the midsize business jet. The aircraft entered service in August 2015 and reached the 500-aircraft level just over 11 years later, underlining the programme’s long-running commercial momentum.
The Latitude remains Textron Aviation’s flagship midsize model and is widely described as the world’s best-selling aircraft in its class. The milestone reflects sustained demand for the business jet as it continues to anchor the company’s Citation line-up. Textron did not identify the customer for the 500th aircraft or specify when it will be handed over.
