Flughafen Emden will begin a direct scheduled service to Esbjerg in Denmark on 13 October, using Let L-410 aircraft with 19 seats and three weekly rotations. The new link adds another international route from the Lower Saxony airport and is aimed primarily at business travellers in offshore, wind energy, maritime and energy sectors.
Flights are planned for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with tickets already on sale. Depending on the timetable, the service may include a stop in Groningen in the Netherlands. The route is intended to connect two North Sea business regions more directly, supporting short-notice travel for companies with cross-border operations.
