Veryon has acquired Polaris Aero, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based aviation safety software specialist, in a deal that expands its maintenance platform into safety management and adds more than 200 customers. The move links Veryon’s aviation maintenance software with Polaris Aero’s risk and compliance tools for operators, charter fleets and maintenance providers.
Polaris Aero’s products include VOCUS SMS, FlightRisk and GroundRisk, which are used by corporate flight departments, charter operators and MROs. Veryon is combining Polaris Aero’s de-identified safety data with its own maintenance-event dataset to support more integrated decision-making across safety and maintenance workflows.
Polaris Aero will continue as a separate business unit in the short term, with existing products, contracts and support unchanged. The transaction was positioned as a data and workflow integration play, with the combined platform intended to improve risk assessment, compliance and operational planning. Financial terms were not disclosed.
