Etihad Airways has unveiled a new premium cabin layout for its Airbus A330neo fleet, adding four First suites and 24 fully lie-flat Business Class seats ahead of economy on the twin-aisle aircraft. The new configuration will enter service from September 2027, with 15 A330neos due to join the carrier’s fleet over five years.
The First cabin is positioned at the front of the aircraft and features closing doors, a 32-inch screen, companion dining space and a personal powder station. Behind it, the Business cabin uses forward-facing seats with sliding doors, direct aisle access, a 17.3-inch screen and both wireless and wired charging. The aircraft will carry 290 passengers in total, including 252 economy seats and 32 extra-legroom economy seats in the reported layout.
The A330neo cabin forms part of a wider refresh that also covers Etihad’s A321LR fleet and a new guest-experience theme described as Beyond Borders. The design keeps Etihad among a very small group of airlines offering First on the A330neo, while giving the carrier a higher-end product for medium-haul growth from 2027.
