Air Dolomiti has unveiled a new aircraft livery that replaces its long-standing turquoise branding with Lufthansa Group Core Blue, with the first Embraer E195 already carrying the scheme and more jets set to follow as the fleet expands. The Italian Lufthansa Group subsidiary is using the new look to underline its group affiliation, while existing aircraft will keep their current colours for now and transition gradually as new aircraft arrive.
The redesign comes after the carrier switched cabin crew uniforms from grey to blue in August, extending the same visual language from the cabin to the exterior. Turquoise is not disappearing completely: it remains in secondary details such as interiors and onboard service items. The first aircraft in the new livery also carries the Lufthansa Group reference more prominently, making Air Dolomiti the first airline to display the group’s core blue so visibly on its jets rather than Lufthansa Airlines’ own darker blue.
