Fly Jinnah is being prepared for a direct Islamabad-Moscow service, with the first flight expected to operate to Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport. Pakistan’s ambassador to Russia, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, linked the route plan to broader efforts to strengthen transport links between the two countries during the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
The discussions point to active work on a new Pakistan-Russia air link rather than a fixed launch date. Officials have already explored direct flights earlier in 2026, and Fly Jinnah was designated in May to operate services to Russia under the bilateral air services framework. No timetable, frequency or start date has been published.
The route would add a direct commercial link between Pakistan and Moscow, with the planned Islamabad service framed as part of wider business, trade and labour mobility ties. Domodedovo’s involvement indicates that the Moscow airport is positioned as the entry point for the first operation, although the carrier has not confirmed any published schedule.
