Air Peace has expanded its Embraer operations with the addition of a third E190, a 13-year-old aircraft previously flown by Kenya Airways. The jet now carries the registration 5N-CET and is expected to enter service after repainting in Tallinn, following a ferry route that took it via Cairo and Budapest.
The aircraft had been parked in Nairobi since February 2025 before being repositioned for Air Peace. The move adds another used regional jet to the Nigerian carrier’s mixed Embraer fleet and supports further capacity growth at the airline, which has been steadily building its presence on domestic and regional routes. The handover date has not been disclosed, but the positioning flight and planned repainting indicate the aircraft is in the final stage before service entry.
