Condor to overhaul short- and medium-haul food and drink service from September and November

Condor will change its short- and medium-haul onboard food and beverage offer from 1 September, followed by a further catering update on 1 November, as the carrier aligns service more closely with flight length across its expanding city-route network. On the shortest sectors, free water will disappear and passengers will instead pay for water, tea and coffee. The revised product will apply across four block-time categories, with the airline moving away from its former route-based structure.

The new framework splits flights into ultra-short, short, medium and extended medium levels, based on block time. Meal changes begin in November: in Economy, paid pre-order meals remain available from Level 2 upwards, while Business Class will feature a cold tray on Level 1 and a hot meal on Level 2, with special menus available. Level 3 adds dessert and Level 4 includes a second snack service. Business Class drinks remain available on all destinations, while duty-free sales will be limited to Level 3 routes to Egypt, Morocco and the Canary Islands.
