Pakistan International Airlines will expand its London Heathrow schedule for the northern winter 2026/27 season, lifting frequencies on both of its Pakistan-UK links from 25 October. Islamabad-London Heathrow will rise from three to five weekly flights, while Lahore-London Heathrow will increase from one to two weekly services. Both routes will continue to operate with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
The adjustment adds long-haul capacity on one of PIA’s most visible international markets and strengthens its Heathrow presence as the airline shapes its winter network. Heathrow remains the carrier’s principal London gateway, and the higher frequencies point to more aggressive use of widebody capacity on the UK corridor.
The move follows a series of schedule changes across the broader winter season as airlines adjust long-haul flying to match demand and fleet availability. For PIA, the increase also improves connectivity for Pakistan-based traffic bound for London and onward UK destinations, while preserving a premium nonstop product on both routes.
