Royal Brunei and Turkish Airlines expand codeshare via Kuala Lumpur

Royal Brunei Airlines and Turkish Airlines have expanded their codeshare partnership with a new itinerary linking Bandar Seri Begawan and Istanbul via Kuala Lumpur, effective 7 August 2026. The combined journey is sold under both carriers’ flight numbers and gives passengers a second one-stop option between Brunei Darussalam and Türkiye alongside the existing Dubai routing.

Under the revised arrangement, Royal Brunei operates the Bandar Seri Begawan–Kuala Lumpur sector, while Turkish Airlines operates Kuala Lumpur–Istanbul. The expanded cooperation broadens network reach for both airlines and opens additional onward connection opportunities from Istanbul across Turkish Airlines’ international network.

Bookings for the new codeshare services were available from the effective date, subject to operational and system readiness. The move deepens an already established partnership between the two carriers and adds flexibility for travellers connecting between Southeast Asia and Europe.
