Embraer has introduced the Phenom 300EV, an evolved version of the Phenom 300E that adds Garmin Emergency Autoland as its headline safety feature. The business jet is positioned as the largest aircraft to carry the system, which can automatically choose a suitable airport, contact air traffic control and land if the pilot becomes incapacitated. Deliveries are expected in 2028.
The upgrade also brings Embraer’s Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller, supporting the new safety architecture alongside runway-awareness and taxi-awareness improvements. Additional changes include autobrake, Gogo Galileo low-Earth-orbit satellite connectivity and cabin refinements such as improved temperature control and a vacuum lavatory.
Embraer lists a range of 2,055 nautical miles with five passengers, along with about 430 lb of extra payload capacity. The package extends a high-end safety technology into a larger business jet segment, with particular relevance for single-pilot flying, charter operations and fractional fleets.
