Baykar’s Bayraktar KIZILELMA unmanned combat aerial vehicle has completed its first live-fire test using its internal weapons bay, with the serial-production aircraft tail number S2 launching TEBER-82 and TOLUN-P precision munitions at the Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ, Türkiye. Both weapons hit their designated ground targets directly, according to the company’s test material.
The sortie extends the KIZILELMA programme beyond earlier underwing weapons trials and into internally carried strike operations, a configuration that reduces external drag and supports a lower-observable profile. Baykar has positioned the aircraft as an unmanned fighter with both air-to-surface and air-to-air roles, and the new test adds to its weapons-integration record.
Video released by the manufacturer showed the aircraft closing its bay doors before taxiing, then taking off and releasing the munitions over the range, with an Akinci drone flying as a chase platform. Publicly available reporting did not include release altitude, speed, range or detailed bomb settings.
