ANA Holdings has added eight more Embraer E190-E2s, lifting its firm commitment for the type to 23 aircraft and extending the carrier group’s push into domestic regional flying. The jets are slated for delivery from fiscal 2029 through fiscal 2032 and will support an expanded operating arrangement with IBEX Airlines, with ANA handling network planning, scheduling and sales while IBEX operates the flights. The extra order follows the February 2025 launch deal that first selected the E2 family in Japan, and ANA is pitching the program as a lower-burn, lower-noise replacement tool for thinner domestic sectors rather than a simple capacity add-on.
