Tecnam Teases Rivale Aircraft Program at Oshkosh

Tecnam used EAA AirVenture Oshkosh to unveil Rivale, a new personal aircraft programme built around a Continental CD-300-series diesel. The company showed a 1,360 kg stainless-steel sculpture with the forward fuselage, plus the actual engine cowling and a custom MT-Propeller, while keeping seats, performance and price undisclosed. Tecnam is also lining up Garmin, Beringer, Michelin and CAV on the project. The full aircraft is due in 2027, with Rivale positioned as a premium single-engine design and Tecnam’s first public statement of its next product direction.
