New website documents former Austrian regional airline InterSky

A new website, flyintersky.com, documents the history of former Austrian regional airline InterSky, which operated from 2002 until November 2015. Created by Roger Hohl, who joined the carrier in 2003 and was its chief executive near the end of its operations, the site is an unofficial remembrance project. Its material covers the airline’s history, routes and fleet, with photographs, videos and magazine content.

Headquartered in Bregenz, InterSky initially operated from Bern before concentrating on Friedrichshafen and the Lake Constance region. Its network included Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Vienna, as well as Mediterranean holiday destinations.

InterSky stopped flying in November 2015 after an investor withdrew, and the company subsequently closed. The website presents a timeline and historical material rather than information about a current airline operation. No specific launch date for the site has been given.
