Joramco to begin maintenance on Condor A330neo next week

Joramco is due to receive Condor’s first aircraft next week, beginning base-maintenance work for the German airline at the Amman MRO provider’s facility in Jordan. The aircraft is an Airbus A330neo, and its arrival will start a five-year agreement covering Condor’s A320ceo, A320neo and A330neo fleets. The agreement was signed earlier this year; no contract value or maintenance duration for the first aircraft has been disclosed.

Joramco, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise’s engineering arm, will carry out the checks in Amman. DAE Engineering chief executive Jeff Wilkinson described the A330neo work as an expansion of Joramco’s maintenance operations. Condor executive Bernd Bechtel said the agreement supports the airline’s fleet and technical operations.

The available details do not specify the aircraft’s arrival date, how many aircraft will be included in the initial maintenance input or the duration of the A330neo check.
