Wizz Air will add three direct routes from Sarajevo International Airport to Berlin, Bratislava and Prague for the winter schedule, with the first two services due to begin on 3 December and Prague following on 18 December. The expansion gives Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital fresh low-cost links to Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic as Sarajevo works to widen its European network.
The routes are part of Sarajevo’s push to replace capacity being withdrawn by other carriers and to strengthen access to key Central European markets. Sarajevo’s acting airport director, Dino Selimović, has confirmed the move in coverage of the plan, which also fits the airport’s broader effort to secure new services for the winter season.
Berlin and Bratislava are expected to operate twice weekly at launch, while Prague is also scheduled at twice-weekly frequency. Reports indicate the operation may be enlarged during the summer 2027 season, depending on demand and network planning.
