TUI fly Netherlands will replace its six Boeing 737-8s with seven larger 737-10s from 2027, increasing seat capacity on leisure services from Amsterdam Schiphol without adding airport slots. The first 737-10 is expected in the first quarter of 2027, with entry into service targeted for the summer 2027 schedule.
The fleet shift is designed to support growth on slot-constrained Dutch routes where carrying more passengers per flight is more valuable than adding frequencies. TUI Group’s commercial leadership said the first aircraft for the Dutch fleet is already in production at Boeing’s Seattle facility, although the timing still depends on certification of the 737-10.
The move gives TUI fly Netherlands a net addition of one aircraft while moving to the largest member of Boeing’s 737 MAX family. That should improve seat supply on high-demand leisure routes and align the carrier’s fleet with its broader capacity plans for the Dutch market.
