SR Technics cuts processing time with Bridgestone technology

SR Technics Spain SAU has completed the rollout of Bridgestone’s easytrack system, becoming the first maintenance, repair and overhaul provider to adopt the technology. The digital platform now covers wheel and tyre logistics, planning, inventory management and workshop operations at the company’s sites in Mallorca and Madrid, cutting processing time by 45%.

The project followed a two-year collaboration between SR Technics Spain and Bridgestone, building on a partnership that dates back to 1999. The new workflow replaces a largely manual process and gives staff a single system for tracking movements through storage and the wheel shop.

SR Technics’ own figures point to gains in planning, efficiency, data accuracy and traceability, alongside less administrative work. The deployment is operationally significant because wheel and tyre handling is a niche but essential MRO task, and the automation of that process can streamline turnaround at specialist repair sites.
