Ryanair signs five-year Google Cloud partnership

Ryanair has signed a five-year partnership with Google Cloud to roll out Google Workspace and cloud services to 35,000 employees across its network. The deal also includes Gemini Enterprise, which the airline plans to use to automate decision-making, streamline crew logistics and improve productivity as it targets annual traffic of 300 million passengers by 2034.

The carrier will also expand its use of Google’s AI tools across operations, including crew scheduling and broader decision-making. Google Cloud’s package is set to incorporate DeepMind models such as AlphaEvolve and WeatherNext to support fleet operations and maintenance planning.

The agreement fits Ryanair’s dual-cloud strategy and adds to its existing use of Amazon Web Services, which is intended to reduce the risk of technology outages. Financial terms were not disclosed.
