Ryanair has signed a five-year partnership with Google Cloud to bring Google Workspace, data and artificial intelligence tools into its operations across 35,000 employees. The agreement also gives Europe’s largest airline access to Gemini Enterprise as it works to streamline decision-making, improve crew logistics and support its target of carrying 300 million passengers a year by 2034.
The carrier is also adopting a dual-cloud strategy, allowing critical systems to shift between providers if one cloud platform faces disruption. That approach is designed to add resilience to airline operations, where service continuity and data availability are central to scheduling, crew management and customer handling.
Ryanair will also use Google DeepMind models, including AlphaEvolve and WeatherNext, for fleet operations and maintenance planning. The move extends the airline’s digital infrastructure beyond office productivity software into operational and predictive applications, reflecting broader use of enterprise AI in airline management. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
