Royal Air Maroc receives sixth Boeing 737-8 from Aviation Capital Group

Royal Air Maroc has taken delivery of a Boeing 737-8 from Aviation Capital Group, completing the lessor’s six-aircraft 2026 delivery programme for the Moroccan carrier. The latest handover, made in Newport Beach, California, gives Royal Air Maroc its sixth 737-8 in six months and supports the airline’s fleet renewal and expansion plans.

Aviation Capital Group described the delivery as the final aircraft from its 2026 orderbook for Royal Air Maroc. The lessor has been supplying the carrier with 737-8s over a six-month period as the airline broadens its narrowbody fleet.

Carter A. White, ACG’s executive vice-president and chief commercial officer, called the milestone “a fantastic achievement” and said the company was proud to support Royal Air Maroc’s ongoing fleet renewal and expansion plans.

The transaction adds to Royal Air Maroc’s capacity as it continues to modernise and grow its fleet. No registration details, deployment schedule or route-level plans were disclosed for the aircraft.
