Rolls-Royce has expanded its CorporateCare Enhanced engine-maintenance programme for business aviation customers, adding coverage and service benefits without increasing its hourly rate. Unveiled at the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, the changes are intended to reduce out-of-pocket costs and administrative work for operators and owners of Rolls-Royce-powered aircraft.
The expanded programme will cover eligible minor foreign-object damage when repairs can be completed on-wing or near-wing without immediate engine or nacelle removal. Major FOD remains excluded and continues to be handled through insurance. Rolls-Royce will also provide technical-variance documentation free of charge for qualified and unqualified damage cases, except where negligence is involved.
Eligible Pearl engine customers will receive broader coverage when life-limited parts reach their prescribed time limits. Additional services include nacelle painting through Rolls-Royce Authorised Service Centres and a simplified line-replaceable-unit core-return process, with Rolls-Royce paying return shipping. Pre-arranged shipping and return labels are intended to reduce paperwork and logistics delays. The standard white nacelle finish is covered, while customers will pay any difference for custom colours or designs.
CorporateCare Enhanced is a fixed-cost-per-flying-hour maintenance-management programme, offered as standard to new CorporateCare customers and as an upgrade for eligible existing contracts. Coverage varies by engine family, with broader whole-powerplant support for the Pearl 15, Pearl 700, BR710 and BR725, including nacelles, engine build-up and thrust reversers. Rolls-Royce has attributed the changes to customer feedback on uncovered costs, engineering documentation and parts logistics.
