Munich expands long-haul and Nordic services for winter 2026/27

Munich Airport will offer 182 destinations in 67 countries under its winter 2026/27 schedule, expanding services to Asia, Africa, the Americas and Northern Europe. Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways will each increase Munich flights from seven to ten per week, while Lufthansa will raise frequencies to Mexico City, Johannesburg and São Paulo from three to five weekly flights. The schedule runs from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027.

Lufthansa will add a second daily Munich–Bangkok service from 16 January to 26 February 2027. Together with Thai Airways’ flights, the additions will provide up to four daily connections to the Thai capital on selected weekdays.

Northern European capacity will also grow in response to demand for Scandinavian and Finnish Lapland destinations. Lufthansa will increase Tromsø services from two to four flights per week and Kittilä services from two to three, with the latter change starting on 1 February 2027. The airline will begin twice-weekly flights to Rovaniemi on 4 December, operating alongside Norwegian, while Discover Airlines will introduce a weekly Munich–Ivalo service from early January.
