MACH OE has taken delivery of two Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft and placed them on long-term lease with United Airlines, launching the first assets in its planned seed portfolio. The aircraft were delivered on 29 and 30 July 2026 and form the opening step in an open-ended aircraft fund that is being built in Dublin by Airborne Capital Limited and Mercuria Investment Co., Ltd.
The two narrowbody jets are the first of several targeted acquisitions planned for the coming months, giving the fund an initial portfolio of in-service aircraft backed by a major carrier. United Airlines will operate the aircraft under long-term lease agreements, while MACH OE begins deploying capital into revenue-generating assets. The structure provides the fund with an early foundation and adds additional Boeing 737 MAX 9 capacity to United’s fleet without altering the airline’s wider network plans.
