LATAM signs Embraer component-support agreement for E195-E2 fleet

LATAM Airlines Group has signed a component-support agreement with Embraer for its future fleet of 24 E195-E2 aircraft. The arrangement, under Embraer’s Component Pool Program, covers more than 300 components and provides exchanges, repairs, overhauls and selected spare-parts inventories at LATAM facilities and operational bases in Brazil to support fleet availability as the jets enter service.

LATAM also holds purchase options for 50 additional E195-E2s. The agreement is intended to reduce the airline’s requirements for its own rotables inventory while lowering repair, storage and logistics costs through Embraer’s shared support network. Its financial value and contractual duration were not disclosed.

LATAM Airlines Brasil began the delivery process for its first E195-E2, registered PS-LTA, on 8 October. Twelve aircraft are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026, with a further 12 expected in 2027. Initial commercial operations are planned between November 2026 and March 2027, subject to customs procedures, cabin approval and certification by Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency.
