LATAM signs component support deal for E195-E2 fleet

LATAM Airlines Group has signed a Component Pool Program agreement with Embraer to support its planned fleet of 24 firm-order E195-E2 aircraft. The programme covers more than 300 components and includes exchange, repair and overhaul services, as well as selected spare inventory at LATAM facilities in Brazil, helping the airline manage availability and reduce component-support costs as the type enters service.

LATAM also holds purchase options for 50 additional E195-E2s. Under the agreement, Embraer will manage pooled component inventory and provide contractually defined performance levels, reducing the need for LATAM to purchase, warehouse and repair its entire stock of spare parts.

The deal follows delivery of LATAM Airlines Brasil’s first E195-E2 at Embraer’s São José dos Campos facility on 8 October. Twelve aircraft are expected by the end of 2026, with a further 12 due in 2027. Initial passenger operations are planned between November 2026 and March 2027, subject to customs procedures, cabin approval and certification by Brazil’s ANAC. The aircraft will support domestic Brazilian operations, including services to smaller regional airports.
