Gulfstream drives General Dynamics Q2 beat as Aerospace revenue jumps 15%

General Dynamics used Aerospace to power a second-quarter beat, with revenue rising 15.1% to $3.525 billion and operating earnings climbing 26.6% to $510 million. Gulfstream delivered 41 aircraft, up from 38 a year earlier, while higher service revenue at Jet Aviation helped lift the segment’s margin to 14.5% and push Aerospace orders to $5.278 billion, a 1.5-to-1 book-to-bill.
