US financial-technology platform Goodwin Company has acquired STACK.aero, a software provider for charter brokers, aircraft operators and corporate flight departments. The Columbus, Ohio-based companies plan to connect aviation operations with banking, payments and accounting workflows, linking customer inquiries and bookings with payment processing, invoicing and financial reconciliation across the charter lifecycle.
STACK.aero will remain an independent product and brand within the Goodwin group. Founder Greg Jarrett will continue as chief executive, while the existing team will stay in place. The platform’s operational capabilities and industry relationships will be combined with Goodwin’s banking-service integrations, AI-supported workflows, payment processing and automated financial operations.
The planned integration is intended to support separate accounts for customer funds and automated matching of invoices and payments. Existing STACK.aero customers will not need to migrate their software and will not be required to adopt Goodwin’s additional financial services. The companies have not disclosed a detailed integration timetable or the financial terms of the transaction.
