Fly2Galicia will launch charter services from Santiago de Compostela with flights operated by Romanian carrier FlyYo under a wet-lease arrangement. Ticket sales are already open for the new network, which is due to start on 1 December and will link the airport with eight destinations in Spain and Europe.
The programme covers Alicante, Granada and Zaragoza domestically, alongside Brussels, Milan-Malpensa, Munich, Prague and Venice. FlyYo will provide the aircraft and crew, while Fly2Galicia handles commercial sales of the service. Reporting on the launch also indicates that FlyYo is based at Bucharest Henri Coandă Airport.
The booking site has already shown introductory fares, underlining that the project has moved beyond a simple announcement and into sales. The structure places the brand in a charter and ACMI model rather than a conventional standalone airline launch, with Fly2Galicia operating the commercial side without its own fleet or air operator certificate.
