Flughafen Zürich AG will reorganise its executive management during 2027, with Chief Operating Officer Stefan Tschudin leaving the airport operator and Chief Commercial Officer Stefan Gross transferring to Noida International Airport in India. Lydia Naef will become Chief Commercial Officer, taking responsibility for the entire non-aviation business as the group reshapes its commercial and real-estate activities to support an extensive construction and renovation programme.
Tschudin will depart by mutual agreement in mid-2027, having worked for Flughafen Zürich since 2007 and served on its executive board since 2017. He will remain in his current role until his departure. Gross, who has led the commercial division since 2016, will become Executive Chairman at Noida International Airport within the Zurich Airport Group.
The existing Commercial division will absorb selected Real Estate responsibilities, including building strategy, portfolio and asset management, property management, passenger experience, hospitality, mobility, visitor services and digital customer platforms. The remaining real-estate activities will form a new Buildings & Constructions division covering the planning, implementation, operation and maintenance of airport buildings and their technical and energy infrastructure.
Recruitment for new executive-board members responsible for Aviation and Buildings & Constructions will begin in the coming weeks. The executive board will retain its current number of members, while the personnel and organisational changes are implemented throughout 2027.
